AVS Licensing

If you have just received AVS product you should submit a License Request Form. AVS Customer Support will issue a license for your product. Submit the correct form depending on the product/version you are using.

AVS/Express 8.x Node-Locked License
AVS/Express 8.x Floating License
AVS/Express 6.x / OpenViz / Gsharp / Toolmaster / AVS5

If you already have an AVS license and wish to change the license server it is running on please fill out and send in a Change of License Request Form.

Flexlm

AVS uses FLEXlm from Macrovision Software to license AVS5, AVS/Express 6.x, Gsharp and Toolmaster on some platforms.

Proprietary

Registry Based: AVS uses a proprietary registry-based license scheme for OpenViz and Gsharp PC products.

Server/File Based: AVS uses a proprietary floating and node-locked license file system for AVS/Express 7.x.

File Based: AVS uses a proprietary node-locked license file system for AVS/Express 6.x, Gsharp, Toolmaster, and AVS5 on some platforms.
