The AVS/Express Parallel Edition provides a framework for parallel computation on multi-processor and networked computers. The computation is distributed across shared memory or clustered processor architectures using MPICH for Windows and Linux and via MPI on SGI systems.
Parallel Edition modules can co-exist with AVS/Express network modules, allowing existing applications to progressively utilize the results of the evolving Parallel Edition development program.
